Xiaomi continues to expand its product line. The Chinese brand will soon unveil the Redmi 15. Recent developments reveal the model’s design.
Redmi 15 design revealed
Images shared via X reveal the Redmi 15’s design. According to the company, the phone will have thinner bezels compared to its predecessor, the Redmi 13. It’s also expected to be available in three different color options: black, purple, and silver.
The phone’s rear panel design is consistent with the current Redmi Note 15 series. More importantly, the leaked images reveal the presence of three camera sensors on the back of the device.
The Redmi 15 5G is reportedly coming with a 6.9-inch display offering 1080p+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Previous Redmi models typically featured a 720p+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This suggests that the new model offers a significant improvement in the display.
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. Up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will also be available.
The model will feature a 7,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The camera will feature a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary camera. The front of the device will also feature an 8MP selfie camera.
Although details haven’t been confirmed, the upcoming model is expected to retail for between $165 and $180. A launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
